What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Verify insurance benefits for specialty medications and services, documenting coverage and related infusion services
- Calculate estimated patient financial responsibility based on benefit verification and payer contracts
- Initiate and secure prior authorization and pre-determination, including reviewing clinical documents for submission
- Communicate updates on pending referrals and ensure timely referral processing
- Assist patients with financial necessity in accessing manufacturer copay assistance programs

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Home infusion experience required
- Experience with referrals, benefit verifications, and authorizations required
- Minimum of 2 years of home infusion pharmacy and/or medical intake/reimbursement experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of CPR+ preferred
- Basic level skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Ability to interpret payer contract fee schedules based on NDC and HCPCS units
