What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls with confidence
- Verify insurance benefits and secure authorizations efficiently
- Conduct financial screenings using Epic and other relevant systems
- Interpret insurance guidelines and medical documentation accurately
- Support revenue cycle excellence through attention to detail
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Less than 1 year of experience in clerical/administrative roles, healthcare insurance, or customer service
- Familiarity with Epic EMR is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a professional phone presence
- Proficient in computer usage with basic math skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in insurance verification and medical billing
- Previous roles providing financial counseling in a medical setting
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume work environment
