- Complete authorizations and conduct financial screenings
- Communicate effectively with patients, payers, and internal teams
- Navigate multiple systems through high-volume work queues
- Apply medical terminology and analytical skills to secure correct reimbursement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in clerical or administrative roles
- Experience with healthcare insurance workflows
- Strong verbal communication skills, particularly over the phone
- Knowledge of medical terminology to obtain accurate authorizations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Customer service experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with insurance verification or medical billing
- Ability to stay organized and flexible in high-volume environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
