      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Audit patient intake packets to distinguish new patients from readmitted patients
      - Create and maintain accurate patient profiles, ensuring correct data entry of demographics
      - Verify insurance eligibility and update patient profiles accordingly
      - Collaborate with the facility’s business office on insurance verification and prior authorization requests
      - Respond to intake inquiries via email and phone, while managing timely data entry of patient medical history

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - 1-2 years of medical billing experience and familiarity with insurance companies
      - Must reside in one of the following states: WA, OR, ID, UT, AZ, TX, VA, FL, GA, PA, IA
      - Acute attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
      - Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word
      - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

      - Experience in a medical office setting, particularly related to patient intake and insurance verification
      - Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA regulations relevant to medical practices
      - Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
      - A positive and professional attitude, with a strong sense of urgency in time-sensitive situations
      - Goal-oriented mindset with a consistent track record of performance
