      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide over-the-phone interpretation between English-speaking government representatives and Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals
      - Maintain polite forms of expression and a high level of customer service during interactions
      - Accurately convey concepts and meanings while ensuring clarity and correct grammar between languages
      - Follow speaker directions and manage the flow of conversations, interjecting for clarification when necessary
      - Adhere to ethical standards and compliance requirements while interpreting for government agencies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - At least one (1) year of experience in over-the-phone consecutive or simultaneous interpreting
      - Two (2) professional references who can attest to your interpreting work
      - Must be 18 years or older
      - Minimum education: High School Diploma
      - Full fluency in English and demonstrated proficiency in a target language, with relevant accreditation

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agencies such as USCIS, CBP, or FEMA
      - Accreditation from the American Translation Association (ATA) or equivalent certification from a higher education institution
