What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build effective relationships with local and regional employers and community partners to identify job opportunities for students and alumni
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve graduate employment goals
- Conduct site visits to enhance relationships with employers and establish new partnerships
- Maintain a database of employment opportunities and coordinate placement activities
- Plan and conduct workshops on job search topics for students and alumni
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with five years of related experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of practical work experience required
- Experience in career services or job placement at a vocational school, college, or university preferred
- Access to reliable transportation and willingness to travel
- Familiarity with the local job market
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in staffing agencies, recruiting, or government sponsorship agencies
- Previous experience in marketing or sales related to career services
