What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead initiatives to prevent injuries and ensure compliance within various public safety programs
- Manage customer service operations across 19 statewide offices
- Develop and execute strategies to detect and respond to fraud within the workers' compensation system
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team on policy and legislative initiatives
- Inspire and guide divisional leaders to achieve operational and strategic goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A combined total of 10 years of experience and education in relevant fields such as public administration or workers' compensation
- Proven management experience in public or private sectors, particularly in areas related to compliance or safety
- Strong knowledge of public policy, human resources management, and strategic planning
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, criminal justice, law, public administration, or a closely related field

- Familiarity with public safety and compliance program challenges
- Experience managing a dispersed workforce
- Previous experience testifying before legislative committees
