      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct intake processes for individuals receiving services, ensuring they are welcomed and engaged
      - Provide support, education, and advocacy during significant life transitions for individuals served
      - Facilitate Peer Support groups and connect individuals with recovery tools and resources
      - On-board and mentor new Team Peer Specialists to uphold peer support standards
      - Collaborate with team members to promote recovery-oriented practices and interventions

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - One to three years' experience providing peer support to individuals with psychiatric disabilities and/or co-occurring disorders
      - Personal experience as a recipient of mental health services, including inpatient and outpatient treatment
      - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
      - Valid driver's license and safe driving record, with the ability to pass a driver's screening background check
      - Ability to perform physically active tasks and assist individuals with daily living skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in facilitating recovery-oriented groups or programs
      - Certification as a Certified Peer Specialist or completion of a Recovery Coach Academy
      - Additional training in motivational interviewing or harm reduction techniques
      - Familiarity with community resources for mental health and substance use support
