      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide administrative and programmatic support for a VA Research Office
      - Support various research committees and initiatives, including creating agendas and taking meeting minutes
      - Process research proposals and track related documentation through IRBNet
      - Conduct audits of regulatory documents and provide IRBNet training to VA research staff
      - Communicate regulatory questions and ensure accuracy of protocol submissions

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as health administration, public health, or biomedical sciences
      - 4+ years of relevant project management, research, and/or IRB experience in a healthcare environment
      - Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
      - Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
      - Strong organizational and communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with VA/DoD and knowledge of military populations
      - Advanced knowledge of IRB functions and regulations governing research safety and animal studies
      - Active Certified IRB Professional (CIP) certification (or equivalent) is desired
      - Familiarity with research management software and Microsoft Office suite
      - Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
