What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the full invoice lifecycle, from receipt through approval and payment execution
- Monitor accounts payable aging, backlog, and on-time payment performance
- Supervise local and remote staff, ensuring adherence to company guidelines
- Lead month-end accounts payable subledger close activities and ensure accurate reconciliations
- Proactively identify operational risks and process gaps within accounts payable and implement preventive controls
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant work experience required
- Strong hands-on accounts payable management experience in a shared services organization preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
- Strong hands-on knowledge of accounts payable operations and procure-to-pay processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Degree in Business or Accounting preferred
- Demonstrated success in managing offshore employees
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Workday Finance system is a plus
