What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Execute integrated marketing, publicity, and recruitment communications for the School of Performing Arts
- Manage SOPA's digital presence including website, SEO, e-news, and social media
- Create promotional materials such as key art, posters, programs, and digital signage
- Supervise graduate assistants and student employees while managing freelance/vendor contracts
- Coordinate with production and technical teams to ensure a cohesive patron experience
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, arts administration, or related field, or significant professional experience
- Professional experience in marketing/communications for performing arts, entertainment, or higher education
- Demonstrated success in managing multi-channel campaigns and strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
- Working knowledge of GA4, email platforms, and basic design/video tools
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and privacy best practices
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in arts administration, marketing, or a related field
- Experience in higher education recruitment marketing and coordination with admissions
- Proficiency with marketing automation/CRM, data visualization tools, and basic HTML/CSS
- Skills in motion graphics and short-form video production; experience with livestreaming
- Media relations experience and demonstrated commitment to audience development
