What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor Medicaid claims data to identify foster care individuals requiring additional physician review for psychotropic medications
- Prepare and facilitate physician review materials while ensuring compliance with oversight policies
- Collaborate with various teams to redesign and implement the physician review process in the new CCWIS program
- Develop and disseminate technical guidance and utilization reports to stakeholders
- Work with the FC-PMOU Outreach Analyst to improve psychotropic medication oversight
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in a relevant healthcare field such as nursing, pharmacy, or medical technology
- Minimum of three years of professional experience analyzing health services or utilization data
- Experience in clinical patient care requiring documentation of services provided
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with relational databases and data analysis software
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team and communicate effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Medicaid services and oversight processes
- Familiarity with software such as SQL Assistant or Power BI
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards
- Prior work experience in a state government or health department setting
- Certification or licensure in a clinical healthcare field
