      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial patient evaluations and assessments
      - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop patient care plans
      - Facilitate therapeutic sessions and conduct patient/family conferences
      - Manage potentially dangerous situations to promote stability within the unit
      - Communicate observations regarding medication effects and signs of substance intoxication or withdrawal to nursing staff

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree and one year of experience as a Mental Health Specialist I, or equivalent; experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis
      - Eligible to obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor Certification upon hire
      - Commitment to working with a homeless population
      - Experience with harm reduction practices
      - Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Nursing Assistant Registered in the State of Washington through the Department of Health
      - Passion for supporting individuals experiencing homelessness
      - Experience working in harm reduction settings
