Provide operational and clinical leadership for ICU Trauma Neuro and Central Telemetry units
Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered nursing care aligned with evidence-based practice
Oversee daily unit operations including staffing, throughput, admissions, and discharges
Monitor quality metrics, clinical outcomes, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous performance improvement
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care coordination
Manage staff scheduling, productivity, and appropriate skill mix based on patient acuity
Lead employee engagement, coaching, performance management, and professional development
Support recruitment, retention, and succession planning for nursing staff
Manage operating expenses and identify opportunities for cost efficiency
Lead initiatives to enhance patient experience and service recovery when needed
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing leadership experience (ICU, MICU, SICU, CVICU)
Strong critical care clinical background
Demonstrated experience managing high-acuity units and multidisciplinary teams
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 6 months
RN Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
