What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver individualized perinatal and postpartum nutrition education through virtual visits
- Facilitate virtual group classes on nutrition for expectant and new mothers
- Maintain clear and precise documentation for all care interactions
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care
- Support members in managing chronic health conditions related to pregnancy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience as a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), Registered Dietitian (RD), or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
- Current licensure to practice in Maryland and DC; licensure in additional states is a plus
- Experience providing medical nutrition therapy to perinatal and postpartum individuals with specific health conditions
- Exceptional listening and communication skills, including proficiency in motivational interviewing
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- IBCLC certification with relevant hospital or outpatient experience
- Proficiency in navigating and documenting within AthenaOne EHR
- Fluent in Spanish
- Experience in a start-up environment or adaptability to a fast-evolving organization
