What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide quality patient care as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist in delivering appropriate aspects of care tailored to individual patient needs
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure understanding of care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and care provided
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have an active Ohio OTA Licensure
- Previous experience in a home health setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- Certification in CPR and first aid
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Additional certifications related to occupational therapy or rehabilitation
