What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Privately tutoring students around the world via Zoom, creating personalized test prep plans for each student
- Setting consistent instructional and practice exam schedules for each student, with the goal of making steady progress leading up to a specific test date
- Writing lesson summaries after each meeting with a student, updating parents on the student’s progress
- Assigning appropriate amounts of homework between lessons
- Communicating regularly with program managers, instruction managers, directors of tutoring, and operational staff to ensure maximum support for students and smooth program operations

What is Required (Qualifications):

- At least 6 months of formal Biology tutoring experience (1 year or more preferred)
- Deep knowledge of both AP content and AP testing strategies
- Proven track record of significant score improvements for AP students
- Ability to deliver world-class customer service to affluent domestic and international families with high expectations
- Familiarity with online teaching tools
- Bachelor’s degree from a top university (degree in Biology preferred)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

- Experience tutoring other subjects or exams in addition to AP Biology
- Familiarity with other standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures
