      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Code outpatient medical records to ensure accurate reimbursement and data collection
      - Review, analyze, and resolve hospital claim edits to facilitate timely billing
      - Select appropriate diagnoses and procedures using Encoder Software and EPIC/IHIS
      - Maintain productivity and quality standards while adhering to an approved work schedule
      - Attend coding meetings and educational sessions to stay informed on coding guidelines

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum completion of a CAHIIM approved coding certificate program or HIMT program
      - Credentialed as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
      - Familiarity or experience with computer-assisted coding and/or automated encoder
      - Demonstrated coding proficiency through satisfactory completion of the coding test
      - Maintain continuing education requirements as determined by relevant professional associations

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certification as a Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) or Radiation Oncology Certified Coder by AMAC
