What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide urgent care medicine during twelve-hour shifts with a one-hour break
- Treat an average of four patients per hour, ranging from newborns to geriatrics in a low-acuity setting
- Perform bread and butter procedures such as I&Ds, toenail removal, and laceration repair
- Utilize in-house point-of-care testing and X-rays, with results available within 20 minutes
- Document patient interactions efficiently using the VelociDoc EMR system with Dragon dictation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Completion of a formal MSN FNP Program or MS in Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies
- Active and in good standing CA Medical License
- DEA Certification
- Minimum of one (1) year of current urgent care experience, either on-site or remote
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in telehealth services or remote patient care
- Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly VelociDoc
- Additional certifications in urgent care or emergency medicine
- Bilingual skills to serve diverse patient populations
