      Printed Circuit Board Layout Designer (ECAD)

      100% Remote

      Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. Join the Land and Air Systems Integrated Engineering Solutions Team and design mission-critical hardware for those who lead, protect, and serve the world we live in!

      Responsibilities:

      • Perform detailed layout design and documentation of printed circuit boards under the direction of a team of electrical and mechanical engineers.

      • Work from schematics, part lists, and a basic description of the board function, constraints, configuration, and arrangement as defined by the team of electrical and mechanical engineers

      • Use the Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition toolset, including Layout, Valor, DRC Hazard Checker, Constraint Editor/Constraint Manager (CES), Drawing Editor, and other related tools.

      • Create electronic library symbols, geometry, footprints, etc

      • Run Valor and DRC Hazard checks to ensure your work is error-free and the design will meet expectations

      • Check drawings against the project inputs for correctness and conformance to standard engineering drafting practices and standards

      Qualifications:

      • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
      • An associate's degree or equivalent is required, plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
      • The ideal candidate has:
        • extensive experience designing HDI printed circuit/wiring boards for high-speed designs
        • Well-versed in MIL and IPC Standards
        • Familiar with the current Siemens/Mentor Graphics tools, including Xpedition Design and Layout, Valor (artwork checking tool), Constraint Editor/Constraint Manager (CES), and Drawing Editor.
      • Demonstrate a passion for innovation, teamwork, and a strong sense of ownership.
