      Job Description:
      The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) is the regional planning and intergovernmental coordination agency that focuses on issues critical to the region's success, including growth and development, transportation, water resources, services for older adults, and workforce solutions. ARC is dedicated to unifying the region's collective resources to prepare the metropolitan area for a prosperous future.
      ARC's Mobility Services team manages the regional Transportation Demand Management (TDM) program, which works to impact transportation behavior change through outreach, marketing, and services to employers, property managers, schools, community partners, and commuters working or living in the 20-county Atlanta region. Additionally, ARC manages the Regional Safety Strategy, which aims to improve roadway safety throughout the region through recommendations for community programs and infrastructure. The joint goals of this work are to improve safety, education, and access to alternative modes of transportation to schools around the region.
      The Senior Program/Project Analyst will be working on the Mobility Services team supporting the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) project work. This role will work closely with and in the three project jurisdictions - the City of Brookhaven, Spalding County, and Clayton County - to support the planning, deployment, and analysis of safety evaluations and pilot activities at schools across the localities. This role will also help to support the oversight of the evaluation technology contractor work, as well as work with the planning and engagement contract team, project administrator, and project analyst.
      Daily responsibilities will include community and school coalition building and coordination, vendor management, in-person and virtual outreach activities, and collaborative school-based planning, outreach, implementation, and analysis. This role will work with ARC staff, program partners across the three jurisdictions, vendors, community organizations, schools, and various other partner organizations.
      *SS4A is a program aimed at helping improve regional roadway safety and encourage use of alternative travel modes, like carpool, bike and/or walk.

      This is a temporary full-time position and is currently funded for 30 months but could be extended based on budget or contract extension.
      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
      • Assist in the planning and execution of school community outreach, analysis, and pilot implementation;
      • Establish program outcomes and engagement goals in coordination with supervisor and colleagues;
      • Create and manage dashboards/documents to track and monitor evaluation technology timeline, deliverables, and outcomes;
      • Manage and oversee evaluation technology vendor(s);
      • Conduct in-person and virtual outreach in coordination with contractors across the grant communities, approximately 20% of the time;
      • Assist in the distribution of surveys, marketing materials, and other resources to evaluate and measure impact and distribute project information;
      • Create presentations, dashboards and reports on program deliverables;
      • Identify opportunities to increase levels of participation through process improvements, and make recommendations for future implementations;
      • Establish strong relationships with the three jurisdictions' staff, and develop partnerships for with school communities and community partner organizations; and
      • Perform other duties as assigned to support agency goals and objectives.


      Minimum Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree in marketing, planning, public health, public policy, public administration, social work, or a related field, or equivalent level of experience.
      • 1-3 years of related experience

      An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.
      PREFERRED QUALIFICATONS:

      Master's degree in marketing, planning, public health, public policy, public administration, social work, or a related field, or equivalent level of experience.
      1-3 years of experience managing projects/contractors/consultants and recording-keeping, preferably managing community relationships
      Familiarity with Request for Proposal process
      Familiarity with the localities highlighted in this job posting

      Research skills
      Transportation Demand Management or transportation planning skills

      • Strong and effective oral and written communication skills;
      • Self-starter, enthusiastic, with excellent interpersonal skills;
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
      • Proficient with file-sharing services such as SharePoint, Google Docs or Dropbox
