What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide leadership and oversight to project managers within the IES Project Management Office
- Define and manage project scope, schedule, and budget, while mitigating risks associated with project variances
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks across stakeholder communities
- Manage project teams through the systems development life cycle, ensuring successful implementation and training
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to clarify business and technical requirements and decision-making processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- More than seven (7) years of experience managing complex projects, including at least two years in a leadership role
- Minimum of 15 years of experience as a PMO Project Manager in Health and Human Services, specifically with Medicaid or related programs
- Experience managing a program budget of at least $100 million
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Online, including VBA scripting, with at least seven years of active management experience
- Current PMP or project management certification from the Project Management Institute

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and leading technical discussions with data analysts and integration partners
- Understanding of data governance and compliance standards
