What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Define and manage project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules with realistic milestones
- Track and report progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with departments, vendors, and agencies
- Design and implement risk mitigation strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in project management roles
- Direct experience managing large-scale enterprise software implementations (e.g., Oracle PeopleSoft, SAP)
- Proven expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)
- Experience with public K-12, higher education, or educational entities
- Familiarity with educational data systems and project lifecycles in academic environments
