What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the design process from the project basis of design stage through the issuance of construction drawings
- Oversee design, permitting, construction, community engagement, and project milestone achievement
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet or exceed client satisfaction
- Identify project opportunities early and facilitate go/no-go decisions while preparing proposals and leading client presentations
- Take ownership of internal project financials, staffing, legal coordination, and risk management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant renewables experience or equivalent education/experience
- Project management experience related to renewable engineering projects
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects on schedule and within scope and budget
- Strong understanding of engineering design, interconnection, electrical equipment, and construction processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Professional Engineering Licensure (PE)
- Over 6 years of relevant experience in project management or engineering of renewables
- Experience managing projects in collaborative model environments, such as Navisworks
