What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor real-time data from Solar and Energy Storage sites to identify anomalies and performance deviations
- Troubleshoot commercial solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) remotely
- Analyze system performance metrics to ensure optimal efficiency and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with technical teams to diagnose system issues and propose corrective actions
- Utilize data visualization tools to present insights effectively to management and engineering teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience with machine learning applications for predictive maintenance in PV and BESS systems
- Electrical Engineering Degree
- Ability to work independently and ensure a seamless handover to the next shift
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying inefficiencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex technical data
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- NERC certification as System Operator or actively working towards certification
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, Excel, and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and renewable energy asset management software
- Knowledge of grid-scale energy storage operations and regulatory frameworks
- Certifications in energy analytics, data science, or renewable energy technologies
