      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform audits and coding of patient charts, ensuring accurate documentation of diagnoses and procedures
      - Utilize computerized coding and abstracting equipment while meeting quality and productivity standards
      - Assist field staff and leadership with Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS) and ICD-10 queries
      - Maintain and report statistical information as needed
      - Consult with clinical staff regarding appropriate ICD codes and sequencing

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma/GED or 10 years of relevant work experience
      - Minimum of two years of experience in a related role
      - Certification in OASIS Specialist-Clinical (COS-C), Home Care Clinical Specialist (HCS-O), Home Care Coding Specialist (HCS-D or HCS-H), or Registered Nurse (RN) license from the appropriate state
      - Ability to perform physical tasks such as frequent lifting/carrying and keyboard use
      - Strong communication skills to share information effectively

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in hospice or home care coding
      - Familiarity with coding guidelines and quality standards in healthcare
      - Additional certifications in relevant coding specialties
      - Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements
