What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote fair and just prosecution practices
- Conduct research and analysis on criminal justice policies
- Develop and implement advocacy strategies to influence policy change
- Engage with community organizations and leaders to raise awareness
- Assist in organizing events and outreach initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of criminal justice issues and advocacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
- Experience in research and policy analysis
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in nonprofit advocacy or criminal justice reform
- Familiarity with community engagement strategies
- Advanced degree in a related field
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Experience with event planning and coordination
