What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research, develop, and productize Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Speaker Diarization, and Audio Understanding models
- Collaborate closely with other ML engineers and scientists to integrate research into business applications
- Identify new research opportunities with significant business impact as a domain expert
- Present research findings clearly and concisely to all levels of the company
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven track record of conducting research in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Speaker Diarization, and Audio Understanding models, with publications in top-tier conferences or journals
- MS or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related fields
- Familiarity with ML and DL frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive with minimal oversight and process in an ambiguous environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in developing and productizing algorithms for high-quality localization
- Background in working with cross-functional teams in a tech-driven environment
- Strong understanding of the Netflix culture and values
