What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct specialist Risk Assessment surveys to identify potential hazards and risk factors at client locations
- Document findings and recommendations for Account Executives and clients
- Consult with clients on strategies to control hazards and mitigate losses
- Serve as a technical resource to Risk Control Consultants and Underwriters
- Maintain productive relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and internal teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in fire science, technical science, engineering, or property fire protection
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to attain necessary certifications to meet state-specific requirements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 8 or more years of experience in Property/Highly Protected Risk (HPR) skills and experience
- Technical training experience
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate complex information
- Understanding of insurance products and risk selection practices
- Demonstrated expertise in the technical specialist discipline
