What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to exceed ambitious revenue targets
- Join key client meetings to support deal closure and provide leadership presence
- Manage day-to-day sales activity, including pipeline coverage, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Collaborate with Product, Editorial, Marketing, and Events to create compelling sales packages and client messaging
- Champion CRM discipline and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate sales teams
- Strong B2B media or events sales expertise, ideally in financial services or a related sector
- Skilled in consultative, needs-based selling and business development
- Data-driven approach to pipeline management and forecasting
- High commercial acumen, with experience in pricing, packaging, and sponsorship sales
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in developing high-performing sales teams
- Background in digital media or content marketing
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics software
- Strong networking skills within the media and events industry
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs
