What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Greet customers promptly to create a welcoming atmosphere in the retail location
- Assist customers in determining their needs and provide guidance on product selections
- Support the management team with merchandising and operational procedures
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure merchandise quality and presentation
- Operate the POS system efficiently, handling transactions and providing excellent customer service
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a retail environment, particularly in merchandising or customer service
- Familiarity with floral decorations and home décor display concepts
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively within a team setting
