What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Translate consumer and shopper insights into actionable Category Growth Drivers and Stories for retail
- Develop and present category reviews to key customers, focusing on driving total category growth
- Advise internal and external partners on assortment and merchandising recommendations
- Analyze customer business performance using IRI, Nielsen, and retailer shopper card data
- Maintain a strong understanding of the retail market through market and store visits
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of analytical experience (Category or Sales) and/or relevant Category Management experience
- Strong experience with syndicated sales data software (IRI or Nielsen)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize workload
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with shelving software (Apollo/JDA)
- Familiarity with customer POS and shopper data
