What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide leadership for the implementation of RDBMS architecture for high availability and disaster recovery
- Maintain databases to ensure optimum performance and data integrity
- Conduct regular database, file structure, and security reviews for compliance and improvement
- Monitor databases for space utilization and perform timely backups and maintenance tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and vendors regarding project statuses and problem resolutions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with relevant IT certifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in database administration
- Strong oral and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven task and project management skills to ensure timely completion of projects
- Ability to provide on-call database support and participate in disaster recovery planning
