What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Achieve annual sales, gross margin, and market share targets set by management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers including Mechanical Contractors and Facility Owners
- Assist customers with bid day operations and post-sale submittal and order entry work
- Execute take-offs and quotes for HVAC products
- Participate in trade shows and marketing events to promote Carrier's products
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of HVAC experience
- Valid Driver’s license
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of HVAC design and application tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 5 years of experience with applied HVAC equipment, preferably in sales
- Controls experience
- PE Certification and LEED AP accreditation
- Extraordinary interpersonal skills and customer focus
