What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and maintain features of the Anthology Ally product
- Communicate and partner cross-functionally with product and software development teams
- Develop applications using Scala for backend and JavaScript for frontend
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development
- Operate applications in the AWS cloud and manage version control using Git
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5-7+ years of relevant professional experience
- Frontend development experience in Angular/TypeScript
- Familiarity with the full-cycle development process
- Experience with cloud technologies and distributed systems
- Fluency in written and spoken English
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with functional programming languages such as Haskell or Scala
- Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies
