- Develop and implement virtual and in-person meetings of partners and stakeholders across the CCF and CRCF.
- Facilitate broad coalitions of partners and stakeholders to identify and achieve shared goals.
- Contribute to the content and event planning of partner and stakeholder meetings and events.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive progress of the California Resilient Careers in Forestry (CRCF) workgroups.
- In partnership with the CRCF team, plan and schedule workgroup meetings to accomplish the goals of each workgroup.
- Facilitate workgroup meetings and take responsibility for any follow-up activities.
- Communicate with internal and external partners to ensure deadlines are met and progress toward project benchmarks are accomplished.
- When assigned, serve as project staff for implementation of other climate-related work related to assistance to communities, workforce development, and sustainability.
- Relevant BS/BA or work experience that demonstrates mastery of job requirements; those with science and/or business backgrounds encouraged.
- Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience.
- Understanding of workplace operations and workflows required.
- Demonstrated writing and speaking/presentation skills required.
- Experience with project and client management software desired.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.

The Center for Climate Futures (CCF) at the Foundation for California Community Colleges helps the 116 colleges in the statewide network take advantage of their unique capacities to shape the state's climate response. California Community Colleges have extensive physical and operational footprints, deep community ties, and essential roles in workforce development; these provide extraordinary potential for helping Californians build resilience to climate change. The Foundation is the official non-profit of the colleges, serving as their innovation arm and helping shape climate-related work at the state, district and campus levels.
What You'll Do
The Senior Specialist position will dedicate time to both the Center for Climate Futures broadly and the California Resilient Careers in Forestry program as a facilitator and stakeholder engagement lead. The position will lead efforts to engage project partners and stakeholders in achieving project objectives.

Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00
Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.- Develop and implement virtual and in-person meetings of partners and stakeholders across the CCF and CRCF.
