What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support IT SOX, operational audits, and technology risk assessments from planning through execution and reporting
- Lead risk-based operational audits, including risk assessments and IT operational process reviews
- Serve as a risk advisor to assess new products and systems, identifying financial and operational risks
- Work cross-functionally with technology teams to ensure compliance with information security and privacy requirements
- Lead and coordinate SOX program testing of IT controls with internal and external audit teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in IT Audit, Information Security Risk Management, or related fields
- Knowledge and experience with Sarbanes-Oxley and evaluating the effectiveness of processes and controls
- Familiarity with cloud-hosted architecture (e.g., AWS, GCP) and associated risks
- Knowledge of internal control frameworks (COSO, COBIT, NIST, SOX, SOC 2) and experience applying them in cloud environments
- Ability to travel 10%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- B.A. or B.S. in Information Technology, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- Big 4 Public Accounting experience with Fortune 500 clients
- Consulting experience providing IT audit services
- Experience working in a co-sourced environment
- Professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA) or actively pursuing certification
