      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Accompany Services Specialists on visits with youth and family members to support case planning
      - Transport family members to facilitate their involvement in the child welfare process
      - Report observations made during visits and propose recommendations to the Services Specialist
      - Participate in Team Decision Meetings and assist in home studies and interviews with prospective adoptive parents
      - Supervise visitations between parents, siblings, and potential adoptive relatives, ensuring safety and reporting incidents

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Completion of two years of college (60 semester or 90 term credits) with at least 15 semester (23 term) credits in human services areas
      - Experience as a Services Specialist Assistant 8 or equivalent experience for higher levels
      - Valid driver's license or official two-year driving record if licensed from another state
      - Ability to work within Michigan for remote or hybrid schedules
      - Strong observational and reporting skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous experience with the child welfare system
      - Knowledge of community resources and services related to child welfare
      - Familiarity with family engagement strategies and practices
      - Skills in conflict resolution and effective communication
      - Previous work or volunteer experience in social services or related fields
