What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a liaison between various departments and customers regarding Accounts Payable concerns
- Ensure compliance with employer policies, procedures, and established controls
- Assist AP leadership with reporting, statistics, and auditing of all AP transactions
- Lead automation campaigns and special projects as assigned
- Recommend re-training of staff based on audit findings to improve accuracy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- NAPCP Certified Purchasing Card Professional and Certified Accounts Payable Associate required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in end-to-end AP processes and bank reconciliations
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a good understanding of GAAP
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with accounting analysis and ERP reporting
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft software
