What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor actual versus budgeted spend plans for accuracy and compliance with organizational objectives
- Compile and analyze data to prepare budget reports under tight deadlines
- Maintain budgeted spend plans for various programs and fiscal years
- Prepare analysis for future financial needs related to staffing, travel, and other costs
- Collaborate with financial analysts and program managers to ensure budgetary accuracy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in budget analysis
- Demonstrated experience with public health surveillance systems, such as the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
