What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Participate and lead control design projects in collaboration with AV and lighting design leads
- Produce design documents, including control one-line diagrams, schedules, reports, and specification packages
- Attend project meetings and provide meeting agendas and notes as required
- Perform quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) on all client deliverables
- Provide equipment research and communicate effectively with manufacturers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in control and show design within theater, film/TV, theme park, or museum environments
- Expertise in 3D drafting using either Vectorworks or AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of theatrical control design and integration of control equipment into attractions, museums, or live events
- Ability to read architectural blueprints and interpret electrical drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or G Suite, with excellent communication skills in English
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) and Lightwright
- Ability to work closely with staff to prioritize, organize, instruct, and problem-solve during installation and programming
- Familiarity with emerging technologies in the entertainment industry
