What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Full sales responsibility for the instrument product portfolio, achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Drive customer awareness and understanding of products through strategic sales calls, educational seminars, and hands-on demonstrations
- Conduct product demonstrations both in-person and virtually to support the sales process
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions using the CRM system (Salesforce)
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BSc in Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven track record of success in sales and account management, with experience selling instrumentation highly desirable
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Experience working in a chemistry laboratory environment with Biotage or related workflow tools is a plus

- Demonstrated success dealing with complex pricing issues involved in government and granting agencies
- Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a field-based sales role
