  Page One Power was founded in Boise, Idaho over a decade ago and has grown from a start-up to an established SEO agency specializing in content creation and link building. Page One Power is a fully remote company.
  
  We are searching for an experienced technical SEO to round out our offerings to provide our clients with a full suite of SEO services. Our client portfolio ranges from enterprise-level to small local businesses in virtually every niche.
  
  Role: As a technical SEO specialist you will report directly to our Director of SEO Services while working closely with both the sales and client services teams. The right candidate will have deep experience in technical SEO and a proven history of working effectively in a highly autonomous role.
  
  Core Responsibilities:
  
  1. Perform full reviews of all existing clients, providing technical recommendations and implementing where needed.
  2. Completing onboarding documentation for all sales prospects, running initial site reviews and performance audits to identify existing technical issues and gaps, and providing clear analysis and documentation for the sales team. You can expect to join calls with prospects and clients as requested. Your primary goal is to grow the technical SEO product line by supporting new sales.
  3. Training our internal SEO Engineers in various technical SEO aspects to take over smaller tasks and projects and their expertise grows, freeing you up for the above-mentioned items and more in-depth projects.
  4. Developing and revising templates, client reporting, documentation, and implementation methods utilized in your role in line with Page One Power reporting standards.
  
  
  Expectations:
  
  • Perform full site review and analysis for client prospects, compiling recommended technical services.
  • Investigate, research, and create reports for existing clients based on their technical SEO needs.
  • Develop solutions to technical issues and action steps for clients.
  • Provide actionable, impactful suggestions for clients and assist with implementing those suggestions through detailed documentation or in-person implementation.
  • Implement technical solutions directly on client websites.
  • Develop and refine technical products to meet client needs.
  • Stay up to date on the SEO industry and Google algorithm updates.
  • Communicate important onsite changes to clients effectively via phone or web conference.
  • Find and diagnose issues websites are having within organic search.
  • Independently identify both problems and solutions to client issues.
  • Develop polished and professional reports.
  • Communicate technical priorities verbally and in writing.
  • Have deep existing experience in a technical role.
  • Have experience working directly with clients via video call and in writing.
  • Existing experience working autonomously.

  Skills Needed:
  
  • Deep understanding of the different elements that affect a search engine's ability to crawl, rank, and understand a website.
  • Practical and advanced experience with tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog SEO Spider, and various Analytics platforms.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients via phone/email.
  • Ability to create comprehensive, easily digestible reports for clients and their superiors.
  • Effective time management.
  • Independent access to all online tools and programs needed to complete technical work.
