What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct individual needs assessments for victims of alcohol and drugged driving crashes, providing emotional support and referrals
- Create and implement tailored case management action plans, including grief support and crisis intervention
- Accompany victims to justice proceedings and advocate for their rights within the legal system
- Conduct community needs assessments and develop outreach strategies to support victims and survivors
- Maintain accurate case records and statistical information in accordance with grant standards and guidelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field (e.g., social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice) and a minimum of one year of experience in victim advocacy or grief support
- Reliable transportation for court attendance and a flexible schedule
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with a command of the English language
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with basic record-keeping and math skills

- Experience in victim advocacy and/or grief support work
- Demonstrated commitment and passion for the mission of victim services
- Familiarity with online data entry systems and community resource networks
- Experience in recruiting, training, and managing volunteers
- Ability to maintain workplace confidentiality and demonstrate accountability in job-related activities
