What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform quality assurance and peer reviews for telehealth and virtual patient observation programs
- Meet regularly with senior leadership to discuss quality metrics and provide feedback on program workflows
- Lead case reviews with hospital partners and implement solutions while monitoring outcomes
- Collaborate with hospital clinical nurses and nursing leadership to ensure patient safety observation criteria are met
- Provide training on telehealth workflows and documentation requirements to new staff members
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum three years of direct patient care experience; five years preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field is required
- Telehealth Coordinator Certification is preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clinical teams and patients
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in a health-related field
- Previous experience in telehealth or remote monitoring environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and judgment in difficult situations
- Familiarity with Epic telehealth systems and workflows
- Proven ability to manage and maintain operational databases related to telehealth performance
