  Job Description

  As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee the manufacturing assembly process for our Immunoassay diagnostic instruments, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance. You will play a critical leadership role, driving short-term and long-term business objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  Responsibilities

  • Manage direct reports, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Support career growth and professional development for team members.
  • Ensure proper training for new employees on equipment operations and work procedures.
  • Oversee assembly operations, ensuring adherence to FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO standards.
  • Use lean manufacturing principles to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and workflow.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and develop sustainable solutions.
  • Approve design changes and assess manufacturability for new processes.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report work status.
  • Set and deliver on challenging yet achievable goals within available resources.
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives and long-term growth targets.
  • Maintain organization and strategic training plans for the production area.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma with 8+ years’ experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience, OR Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Self-starter with motivation for continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to lead production teams by defining measurable goals, implementing performance standards, and utilizing structured feedback systems to drive accountability and operational excellence.
  • Competence in data analysis for process improvement and KPI tracking.
