What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as a patient resource for all scheduling and billing inquiries
- Facilitate comprehensive patient data collection and ensure timely and accurate billing
- Coordinate scheduling and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Perform all duties of Access Coordinator I and II levels
- Support patient care activities as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in registration, billing, or scheduling in a healthcare environment
- Basic proficiency with computers and data entry (MS Office preferred)
- Ability to perform all duties of Access Coordinator I and II levels
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) Certification
- Experience with external radiology testing
- Knowledge of CPT codes and/or medical terminology
