What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as a patient resource for scheduling and billing inquiries
- Facilitate comprehensive patient data collection and timely billing processes
- Coordinate scheduling and resolve conflicts to ensure patient care activities run smoothly
- Perform all duties associated with Access Coordinator I & II levels
- Support patient care activities as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in registration, billing, or scheduling in a healthcare environment
- Basic proficiency with computers and data entry, preferably MS Office
- Ability to perform all duties of the Access Coordinator I and II levels
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and general office machines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Health-care Access Associate (CHAA) Certification
- Experience with external radiology testing
- Familiarity with CPT codes and medical terminology
