What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Generate new business opportunities within the assigned portfolio of existing and target accounts
- Exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals while maintaining appropriate customer churn goals
- Negotiate agreements and handle contract negotiations as necessary
- Act as the brand ambassador within the assigned territory, cultivating deep client relationships
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a strong customer life cycle and maximize revenue and loyalty
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in outside direct sales within an assigned territory
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Strong presentation and strategic selling skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational skills
- Ability to develop deep client relationships and work with internal teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2+ years of sales experience in the public sector
- 2+ years in telecom or technology sales
- 2+ years of account management and strategic selling experience
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong technical abilities and a quick learning aptitude
