      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Drive strategic engagement and manage relationships with state government accounts to grow business
      - Generate pipeline and revenue from state governmental agencies through prospecting and networking
      - Develop and implement Planet's civil go-to-market strategy in collaboration with various teams
      - Manage the government contracting process and identify new partnership opportunities
      - Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Customer Success Managers to understand client needs and ensure successful outcomes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - 6+ years of experience selling to civil markets, with 5+ years in Geospatial Earth Observation or similar industries
      - Proven success in prospecting and closing business within civil government accounts
      - Deep understanding of commercial imagery's value and civil procurement complexities
      - Existing network within the government and partner ecosystem
      - Strong ability to develop sales plans, forecast accurately, and manage a pipeline of opportunities

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with federal contracts and government sales
      - Background in GIS, remote sensing, or related fields
      - Knowledge of consultative selling techniques such as MEDDPICC or Challenger Sale
      - Proven track record of identifying and establishing new use cases within existing and new accounts
