What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage revenue cycle operations from charge entry through payment posting and follow-up
- Perform accurate charge entry and claim submission, including clearinghouse management and rejection resolution
- Conduct medical claim follow-up with various insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid
- Handle appeals and reconsiderations, ensuring effective communication with clients
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose solutions to enhance billing processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 5 years of medical billing experience, with demonstrated full cycle billing expertise
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare Part B, Medicare DME, and Medicaid
- Proficiency with billing software platforms, preferably AdvancedMD
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously with a high level of organization
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience billing medical insurance for dental, TMJ, orofacial pain, or sleep medicine services
- Previous experience working in a remote environment
